The California School Dashboard provides parents and educators with meaningful information on school and district progress. Performance on state measures is represented by one of five colors, although performance level (color) is not included when there are fewer than 30 students in a group in any year. State reported measures include chronic absenteeism, graduation rates, suspension rates and academic performance. Local measures are reported based on data available only at the local level and include clean and safe buildings, school climate, parent engagement and access to a broad course of study.
