Measure E General Obligation Bond

WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS YEAR...
  • December 2, 2020 - Board of Trustees approval of agreement with ABA for architectural services for the SHS Engineering project 
  • October 13, 2020 - Board of Trustees approval of the Greystone West contract for Program and Construction Management firm for designated Measure E projects.
  • September 9, 2020 - Board Presentation - Program and Construction managers - Structures, Parameters and Fees.
  • August 25, 2020 - Board of Trustees approval of Greystone West as the District's Program and Construction Management firm for designated Measure E projects.
  • September 17, 2019 - CBOC Update, including Technology Bond
  • March 5, 2019 - CBOC presented the 2018 Annual Report attesting that Measure E funds have been spent in accordance with legal requirements and limitations and the language of Measure E.
  • November 13 Board Study Session - Reprioritization:  The Board of Trustees reviewed the results of reprioritization meetings, held at the sites with prior and current stakeholders, identifying possible next steps.
  • November 2018 - Roofing repairs completed for the 900 wing at SHS, at a cost of $23K, vs. the original estimate to replace the roof of $120K.  Studies revealed the repairs would be sufficient and bring the roof back into warranty.  Roofing repairs for the 200 wing underway.
  • October 2018 - Work continued with the 800 building renovation at SHS. This week they continued framing, installing metal support beams, and underground plumbing;

    also began the work of replacing speed bumps at LGHS to help alleviate concerns with increased speeds by drivers on campus after the road replacement project; started hazmat testing in the old LGHS music facility and met with project designers to review design details for the "music to drama" project.

  • September 2018 - Bond project REPRIORITIZATION meetings are underway.  Completion of the several significant projects, the district is bringing stakeholder groups together to examine remaining projects identified when the bond was first passed, to identify any potential additional needs that still fall within the project focus areas allowed by the bond, and to reprioritize future projects based on budget resources and needs.
  • August 28, 2018  - Contract awarded for LGHS cafeteria upgrades - $39,000
  • August, 2018 - LGHS Music and Classroom Wing open for students.
  • June 12, 2018 - Contract awarded for 800 Wing construction at SHS to Calstate Construction
