2025-26 Classified Classification & Compensation Study

Overview

The District and CSEA entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Board approved on 6/16/2025, to form a Classified Classification & Compensation Committee and facilitate a Classification & Compensation Study for the 2025-26 school year.

The District is contracting with Educational Management Solutions (EMS) to lead this important work. As part of the study, EMS will host in-person focus groups in December to gather input from staff about their current positions and conduct a feedback survey on the draft job descriptions. Every classified employee will have the opportunity to provide feedback in this process.

 

Timeline:

December 8 - 12, 2025: Focus Group Interviews Conducted by EMS
February TBD, 2026: Employee Reviews of Job Descriptions and Feedback Surveys
April TBD, 2026: Proposed Job Descriptions Report Finalized, Presentation by EMS
May TBD, 2025: Proposed Job Descriptions Negotiated with District & CSEA
June TBD, 2025: Finalized Revised Job Descriptions Board Approved

 

Classified Classification Committee:

The MOU between the District and CSEA states the purpose of the committee is to provide guidance and feedback to EMS for the study. The MOU outlines that the committee for the study will consist of eight total members, four District representatives and four CSEA representatives.
