Communication Resources

EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEMS

We are excited to announce that, effective July 1, 2021, we have adopted a new form of school-to-home communication in our district -- ParentSquare! This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with your school and the district. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:

  • Send and receive school and class information
  • Share pictures and files
  • See calendar items
  • Sign up to volunteer
  • Schedule parent-teacher conferences

and much more . . . all in one centralized place!

Here's a short video that explains how ParentSquare works:  Video Link

All district and school, grade level and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices).

Have questions? Click the question mark in the top right corner of the desktop version or the Help tab on the app (tap the triple bar icon at the top left) to find answers to most of your questions.

As a family with a student registered to attend school in our district, you have already received an invitation email or text to join ParentSquare.  Please be sure to click the link to activate your account to ensure that you continue to receive important information from both your school and from the District, please register immediately.  We don't want you to miss any back to school updates :)

Please note that, although the district does not charge you for this service, we cannot pay for text message charges you may incur for sending or receiving text messages.  You should contact your wireless carrier for information about possible charges.  If you have questions regarding this service, please contact your child’s school.

In addition, Santa Clara County operates an alert notification system, AlertSCC which provides you directly with information and instructions during emergency situations  To enroll, go to AlertSCC at http://www.sccgov.org/sites/alertscc/Pages/home.aspx
