Middle College
The Middle College application for 2025-2026 is now closed.
We received the most applications for Middle College in program history this year, which means we had to utilize the lottery for the first time. While we had 90 junior spots, we had less than 20 senior spots due to the number of students returning to Middle College for 25-26. In reviewing applications, we took into account personal responses, teacher and counselor recommendations, and student writing samples while checking the academic eligibility of each candidate. From there, we entered students into a lottery and those selected students were offered spots.
Students on the waitlist who wish to continue to remain eligible for Middle College should submit the Waitlist Opt-In Form as directed in their application update email from Mark Manrose (sent to the student's personal email they provided in their application). This Friday, March 21st we will conduct another lottery from these students based on the number of spots available for each grade level after the acceptance deadline. We will not know how many spots will be available until this date. Due to the lottery process, students do not need to take additional action to improve their eligibility.
