The mission and goal of the district is to optimize the learning of each student. Through strategic planning and community engagement, the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District aims to adopt and teach curriculum that prepares today’s students to be lifelong learners who embody personal integrity, social responsibility, and positive physical and mental health.

Curriculum

Developed to support students in preparing for both college and careers, our schools deliver a rigorous academic experience through an outstanding college preparatory program. We provide a diverse array of honors and Advanced Placement courses, as well as a robust college prep program designed for students not yet ready for the challenges of honors or AP. Additionally, a comprehensive selection of support classes and programs is available for students who may not be meeting proficiency standards.

In addition to our core curriculum, students have the opportunity to participate in award-winning visual and performing arts, Career Technical Education (CTE), athletics, robotics, and so much more.

For personal growth and enjoyment beyond the classroom, numerous student clubs, an active Associated Student Body (ASB), and acclaimed student newspapers offer diverse pathways for students to explore.
