Superintendent's Message to the Community
November 2025
Dear LGSUHSD Community,
Thanksgiving reminds us to pause and appreciate the people who make our lives meaningful. I want to share my deepest gratitude with our entire LGSUHSD community. This is my first official year serving as Superintendent, and I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and for the kindness and support I have received from families, staff, students, and community partners. Our schools thrive because of the genuine care and strong connections across this district, and I feel grateful every day to serve a community that wholeheartedly invests in its young people.
To our staff, students, and families, I hope the week ahead gives you time to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy moments that matter most. Your partnership, whether through communication, volunteering, encouragement, or collaboration, continues to strengthen our schools and lift up every student.
If you’re on social media, I’d love for you to check out our 5 days of gratitude (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). I am truly thankful to be part of such an extraordinary community. I wish each of you a Thanksgiving filled with warmth, gratitude, and the company of those you hold dear.
With gratitude and pride,
Heath Rocha
Superintendent
