Work Permits

Work Permits are issued in accordance with regulations and guidelines established by California Education Code and California Labor Code.  More information can be found by clicking here.

A Work Permit can be obtained by bringing a completed "Intent to Employ a Minor" form to designated personnel at your school site.  The completed form must be signed by the employer and student's parent/guardian.  During school breaks, some district office personnel can also process your request and issue a Work Permit.  Appointments are recommended.
