Congratulations to our students, schools, staff and community! Los Gatos and Saratoga High Schools have been selected as 2016 Honor Roll/Scholar Schools by Educational Results Partnership (ERP) and the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEE).
The Honor Roll is part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and highlight successful practices that improve outcomes for students. School districts receiving this distinction have demonstrated consistent high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement levels over time and reduction in achievement gaps among student populations. The analysis includes an examination of equity amongst ethnic and socio-economic groups. This Honor Roll recognition also includes measures of college readiness such as:
- UC/CSU eligibility
- SAT scores in Math, Reading and Writing
- AP testing scores of 3 or higher
- Graduation/drop-out rates
This recognition reflects the work being done our campuses every day. Our students continue to impress, with their dedication and hard work. Our teachers, staff and administration are committed to success for every student, not just academically but socially/emotionally and as community citizens. They give their best for their students, reflect and innovate. I am honored to work with such a dedicated group of professionals and in awe of the achievements of our students. I am also incredibly appreciative of the the community support that makes this possible. Thank you and congratulations!
