Employee Benefits

The Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District is committed to offering comprehensive, high quality health benefits to qualified staff.  The District provides health benefit coverage for employees and their families, plus Dental and Vision coverage.  Below is the health benefit premium costs for the 2016 calendar year.  Please note the employee share is based on full-time employment.  (Certificated staff working less than 0.8 FTE and classified staff working less than 0.875 FTE receive pro-rated premium coverage.)

Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)-Those electing medical benefits through the district will receive a district contribution to a Health Reimbursement Account through Mid-America.  This money may be used to offset out-of-pocket premium costs using the Recurring Claim Form (below).  In addition, you may request reimbursements for office visit and prescription copays as well as other qualifying medical expenses.
