Bob Mistele was recently selected to serve as the new superintendent of the Los Gatos – Saratoga Union High School District.  He had served the district as the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources since 2007 and stepped into the role of Interim Superintendent in July 2011.  Bob’s background includes over 24 years of successful administrative experience, including the opening of a middle and high school.  He served as principal at elementary and secondary schools in the San Luis Obispo area since 1990 and in various roles in curriculum leadership and special education since 1980.   He received a Master of Arts in Education and his Administrative Credential from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Arizona State University. Bob was born in Philadelphia and is a fan of all things “Philadelphia Eagles.”  He has three grown daughters and lives in Mountain View with his wife Linda.
